The work: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will involve monitoring infrastructure, identifying and solving problems, and ensuring smooth operations of the systems.
Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME.Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.Monitor infrastructure and identify any issues or anomalies.Investigate and troubleshoot system problems and provide timely resolutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations of critical business systems.Document and maintain system configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements. Heres what you'll need: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields. Professional & Technical Skills: Required Skill: Proficiency in Infrastructure Monitoring.Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Japanese.Strong understanding of system monitoring tools and techniques.Experience in analyzing system logs and performance metrics.Knowledge of incident management and problem resolution processes.Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
