Application Specialist

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications, resolving user issues and ensuring applications are functioning as intended.
Oversee user access and permissions, ensuring appropriate levels of security and compliance.
Develop and deliver training programs and materials to help users effectively utilize applications.
Analyze application performance and usage to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Participate in application-related projects, including planning, implementation, and deployment of new applications or features.
Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficient in relational databases(SQL Server/PostgresDB)
Experience in cloud services such as AWS (certification is a plus)
Experience with incident and problem management.
Knowledge in programming languages, Java and Python is a plus
Experience with Snowflake is a plus
Proficiency with collaboration and project tools like Jira, Confluence
Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc. (certification is a plus)
Very good language skills in English (written/oral)
