The Role
As a first point of contact you'll listen attentively to the customer, gain a clear understanding of the situation, before rolling up your sleeves to do what's required to get the job done.
Working closely with the Application Systems Manager and the broader IT team, an ordinary day will see you juggling any number of duties including liaising with store and support centre teams, effectively troubleshooting system issues and contributing to routine system health checks, all in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide customers with timely responses to telephone and email based requests and effective resolution of queries
Manage the service desk database to effectively capture customer queries
Escalate issues in line with established processes and provide information and input for system investigations, as required
Work closely with the Application Systems Manager and other teams within IT, contributing to routine system health checks and the resolution of issues, as required
Preferred Experience:
Relevant tertiary degree in Information Technology
Proven experience in customer service and issue resolution
Must be able to work on a rotating roster (public holidays, weekend work and late shifts will be required)
