Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Monitor cloud performance and ensure high availability and scalability of cloud resources.
Application Deployment and Management:
• Oversee the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of applications in the cloud environment.
• Ensure seamless integration and performance of applications.
Security and Compliance:
• Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Migration Projects:
• Lead the migration of on-premise systems to cloud platforms.
• Develop and execute migration strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
Cost Management:
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs.
• Monitor and manage cloud spending to stay within budget.
Automation and Scripting:
• Create and maintain automation scripts to streamline cloud operations.
• Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud processes and tools.
• Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders on cloud computing best practices.
Collaboration and Support:
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth cloud operations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to resolve cloud-related issues.
Operations:
Identifying potential issues or anomalies that requires attention.
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Backup and recovery by performing regular backup on cloud or on-prem.
Installation and configurations of systems, Setting up and configuring software and other type of applications or platforms.
Providing Technical support to employees or stakeholders for any IT related concerns.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in managing and monitoring cloud environments, with in-depth knowledge of cloud architectures and services.
Skills:
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), networking, security, and application deployment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be knowledgeable in Google workspace, Jira, Creatio, LibreNMS and iTOP.
Proficiency in managing various operating systems (Windows, Linux, (any flavors e.g. Ubuntu, RHEL etc..)
