Api Developer

Responsible for:

The API Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing efficient and secure data communication channels using microservices and web APIs for Micro Sourcing's in-house custom-built ERP-Micro Status. Design APIs that will connect systems and enable data flow with selected applications such as Fresh Service and HubSpot, among others including data processing solutions to support the solution's planned upgrade.

KEY SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working knowledge of SDLC
Scrum, Agile Methodology
DevOps
Ci/CD
Proficiency in Web & Cloud Development(Node JS, Express JS, React)
Proficiency Data Access and Databases (Microservices, REST APIs, Postgres, AWS Glue)
Working knowledge of development tools and IDEs (VS Code, GitLab)
Familiarity with IT Infrastructure concepts and technologies (Docker and Kubernetes, AWS Cloud Iaas & Paas)
Experience with asynchronous programming.
Knowledge of Software Design and Architecture
Strong Analytical skills
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with clients and organizational peers
Attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS AND TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Programming, Computer science and other relevant degrees
5+ years' experience within similar role
Experience working directly with clients
