Position: AP- Video Editor
About the Role: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic production team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that engage and captivate our audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure that each project meets our high standards of quality. Your work will include editing various types of video content, from promotional materials and social media clips to full-length features and documentaries. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for a creative professional who can contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance our projects.
Responsibilities: Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video Consult with the director and production team throughout the project Create and maintain an organized library of video content for easy access and reference Stay updated with the latest editing software and best practices to enhance video quality Requirements Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar Demonstrated ability to work with various video formats and codecs Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and storytelling techniques Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team Ability to handle feedback and make adjustments in a timely manner Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics NOTE: We are actively seeking qualified candidates to join our talent pool for future opportunities.
