Your Role: As AP Team Lead for Buy & Pay Service, your main function shall include the following:
Supervises direct reports in the processing tasks assigned and ensure they are delivered in an efficient manner and completed in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Plans and prepares specific tasks, contingency plans and work schedules of employees ensuring coverage in key tasks of the team.
Resolves escalated client complaints or queries and manages these to completion within turn-around time.
Reviews and generates Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports and tracks team performance in accordance with the SLAs.
Oversees month-end activities and ensures the accurate and timely submission of reports.
Evaluates and discusses job performance with staff and trains or arranges training to be provided.
Addresses performance or behavioral issues of staff and recommends appropriate corrective action.
Assists in the review, development, and implementation of process improvements or amendments within key areas
Reports the team’s overall performance and operational state of the team to management and stakeholders
Participates in and perform special tasks and projects that may be assigned.Who You Are:
You have a Bachelor’s/college degree or comparable education and significant experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other neighboring business-related fields.
You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable functions with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
You demonstrate strong expertise and knowledge in Accounting and the Accounts Payable process.
You have experience working within a Shared Services Center environment (preferably)
You have a strong background and experience working with SAP, Oracle, Ariba or other ERP systems
You are fluent in English and can communicate well both in oral as well as in written form.
You are flexible to take on any shift and amenable to work in BGC, Taguig
You have good organization skills –able to prioritize work and adapt rapidly to changing priorities
