The General Manager for Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club will provide day-to-day leadership and direction by maximizing revenues, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community. He/she will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the resort including the functional areas of administration (accounting, purchasing, personnel and clinic services), front office, guest activity and marine sports, food and beverage, kitchen, housekeeping, garden, maintenance and security. He will ensure that the club maintains a world class golfing experience that complements its sports center facilities and the Beach and Nature Club offerings. Key Responsibilities: As Club Area Manager 1.Oversee the daily operations of the Golf and Sports club, including golf course maintenance, shop operations, food and beverage service, leasing operations and events management. He will ensure that all facilities, equipment and transportation (club house, offices, guestrooms, public areas, kitchen, staff house, clinic, boutique, sewage treatment, power and desalination plants, and sports areas) of the club are functioning according to the expected availability, performance level and safety requirements. 2.Develop and implement plans to increase profit and profitability, such as implementing cost-saving measures, creating effective marketing campaigns, and improving customer retention. 3.Evaluates performance of staff, proposes commendations/rewards for good performance or developmental actions to correct weaknesses; implements disciplinary actions to erring employees 4.Build and maintain relationships with members, guests, vendors, and other stakeholders. 5.Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals. He/she will monitor and analyze customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed. 6.Act as public relations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in local community and develop and carry out action plans to implement an environmentally conscious club Note: Golf club operations experience is a must for this requirement.
