Collaborate with team members to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design data models ? Provide clean and appropriate data sets/views for data and reporting requirements to be delivered ? Provide insights and workshop with Data Engineers the gaps of data in the data lake for data engineers to pipeline in ? Apply appropriate statistical calculations and models against data sets in GROW's Data Lake ? Continuous improvement activities on performance optimisation of all data pipelines and data stores, applying engineering best practices to code ie Versioning, automated testing, CI/CD ? Provide input into the discovery and solution phase for Business/Client needs, assessing risk in exposing data and working inline with GROW's risk framework ? Document changes, calculation methodologies and process of executing reports in GROW's Wiki Appropriately ? Contribute to business cases the Head of Data Engineering will be putting forward to GROW's Strategic Leadership Team ? Support the Product owner in communicating the delivery and handover of a report to the relevant internal/external stakeholders Who you are: ? Data Engineering - owns the development and continuous improvement of our data platform capabilities including data pipelines, data lake & warehouse, ingestion and integration with reporting & operational systems ? Data Analytics - owns the delivery and improvement of our data analytics capabilities including data modeling and data analysis ? Data Architecture - partners with the architecture team to develop a cloud-first data architecture required to deliver the data platform ? Data Governance - owns the governance of our platform data, collaborating with Legal & Risk to ensure we appropriately catalog and manage our data ? Data Security - collaborates with Legal & Risk and DevOps to manage risk by building security into our software delivery practices ? Product Planning - collaborates with Product & Design on discovery to determine what will be delivered next ? People - collaborates with the People team on hiring & employee experience to build high performing data engineering teams
