Acts as a hands-on lead in developing and facilitating Analytics operational and communication activities, with duties including but not limited to:
- Participating in company-wide strategic planning; working with other departments on projects that have low to high-impact on business systems, data and processes.- Performing customer service and relationship building in support of other departments.- Ensuring departments are aware of and are utilizing Analytics Department tools and resources such as: dashboards or other customized tools and providing end-user education and training as needed.- Identifying and resolving deficiencies in the Analytics Department by recommending changes to processes, procedures and/or policies.- Ensuring standards for Analytics Department customer service satisfaction are met by conducting regular surveys of work performed by staff.- Developing, implementing and maintaining applicable Analytics Department documentation including but not limited to business process workflow, specifications and Analytics Department Policies and Procedures.- Use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data.- Provide solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of SCM and Operations objectives.- Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for areas of responsibility.- Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization.- Lead delivery teams to develop and interpret analytical models, conduct analysis to gain insights into client business problems, propose solutions and quantify the improvements in Supply Chain metrics.- Make recommendations in terms of changes in strategies or tactics driven by analytical insights.- Creates a plan and methodology to track results of analytic implementation.- Identify additional opportunities.- Attending and participating in meetings as directed.
