FILINVEST COMPANY: TIMBERLAND HIGHLANDS RESORT Timberland Highlands Resort is seeking a skilled Aircon Technician to join our maintenance team. The Aircon Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems throughout the hotel premises. This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting HVAC issues. The successful candidate will ensure that all air conditioning units operate efficiently to provide a comfortable environment for guests and staff members. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning units in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in HVAC systems and implement appropriate solutions.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.Coordinate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete repair requests promptly.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment inventory.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency of air conditioning systems. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical certification in HVAC systems preferred.Proven experience as an Aircon Technician or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.Strong understanding of HVAC principles, including refrigeration cycle, electrical components, and air distribution systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of air conditioning units, including split systems, window units, and central air systems.Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment, such as manifold gauges, leak detectors, and voltage testers.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and vendors.Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and climbing.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC operations.Amenable to work in San Mateo, Rizal.
