As an Agriculture Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing farming operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities encompass auditing, reporting, assessing risk management strategies, and evaluating agricultural practices for sustainability and efficiency.

Tasks and ResponsibilitiesMaintain relationships with clients, keeping them informed about market changes and adhering to ISO19011 requirements.Plan and prepare assessments, execute assessments, and provide quality reports with findings regarding conformity with the requirements.Initiate assessments, conduct document reviews, and prepare on-site assessment activities, including agricultural and sustainability audits on farms and/or food facilities to ensure compliance with ISO19011.Assist clients in handling claims and appeals related to the audit process, facilitating effective conflict resolution.Keep up-to-date files of all quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation issued by the company and Control Union Certifications.Transport samples to the office/lab, coordinate with clients, and adhere to company standards and health/safety protocols.Stay informed about developments, issues, and legislative changes in relevant sectors, continuously update knowledge regarding quality policies, and perform tasks as requested by the manager in relation to certification operations.Keep abreast of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried out. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager – Certifications.RequirementsDegree/Diploma in Agriculture (preferably majored in Animal Science, Livestock Production, or other Agri. Extension)2-3 years of equivalent working experience related to quality assurance and quality management (implementing and maintaining a quality system)Experience in production/processing of crops and internal control systems and/or handling small farm groupsKnowledge of audit/inspection principles, practices, and techniquesKnowledge of certification body's processes and toolsProficiency in English (spoken and written)Proficiency in MS OfficeNote-taking and report-writing skillsPresentation and interviewing skillsOur CompanyFrom our roots in agricultural inspections, Control Union has been operating for over 100 years and is engaged in many fields including inspections, certifications, logistics, collateral management, and risk management.
