Agri-Technician

We are seeking an Agri Technician with a major in Animal Science to support our animal husbandry and livestock management initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with farmers, researchers, and veterinarians to implement best practices in animal care and management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the daily management and care of livestock, including feeding, health monitoring, and record-keeping.
Support research projects focused on animal nutrition, breeding, and health management.
Collect and analyze data on animal performance, health indicators, and environmental conditions.
Provide technical support and training to farmers on animal care practices and technologies.
Monitor animal welfare and report any health issues or concerns to the veterinary team.
Participate in the development and implementation of innovative animal management solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance overall agricultural productivity.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
Experience working with livestock or in agricultural settings is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data collection and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel to farms and research sites as needed.
