Admin Medical Assistant

Job Responsibilities• PARS for medications and procedures• Referral coordination to specialist• Record requests from hospitals or specialist• Give instructions to patients as instructed by Nurse Practitioner• Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls• Manage a high volume of patient visits• Patient EducationQualifications• Ability to work independently• Strong organizational skills• Excellent time management skills• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and flexibility• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Keen attention to detailPrior Experience•Describe the prior working experience a candidate should have.• Experienced Medical Assistant with preferred minimum of 2 years experience• Experience in mental health or primary care a plus• EMR (electronic medical record) experience requiredWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:?
