Actuarial Specialist

The Actuarial Specialist will produce and maintain actuarial reports and studies to address regulatory and internal business requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Financial Projection and SimulationsMaintenance of Current & Adoption of Emerging Actuarial Practices, Models & Regulatory RequirementsInsurance Risk ManagementActuarial Data Sources Preparation and Process MaintenanceActuarial Experience Study & MonitoringActuarial Services & SupportTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE: Graduate of a College Degree Major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics,or StatisticsAt least 3 years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance Company, preferably in Actuarial Valuation & ReportingExperience in IFRS 17 implementation or reportingProficient in any of the following computer programming and Microsoft applications – R, Python, SQL, VBA, Excel Macro, MS Power Apps, Power Automate, Dashboard programs, etc.Exposure to any Actuarial Modeling Software (Prophet, Axis, etc.)Associate of Actuarial Society of the Philippines (AASP), or near and actively pursuing AASP designation.Deep understanding of Life Contingencies & basic actuarial conceptsRelevant background in process improvement & automation.Well-versed in Life Insurance products & business operations.Up to date with relevant technological and actuarial-related advancements and innovations.Knowledge in effective data visualization and presentation.Must be willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
