We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Specialist . The Accounts Specialist will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and collections, communicating with clients and internal stakeholders as necessary. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing input and insights based on financial analysis. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting regulations and standards. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to gather financial data and support decision-making processes. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
