Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is a member of MultiFamily Solutions, one of the largest collectives of multifamily flooring contractors in the United States. They provide our customers with access to exclusive products, significant buying power, and expert flooring services in 135 markets nationwide. They are currently seeking a collection agent to join our team. Responsibilities Maintain customer files and perform regular checks on accounts to ensure updated and accurate client information Request and manage reseller permits, certified mail, and payment applications Collection calls, Notice of Intent, Lien conditional / unconditional releases when needed Answer customer emails and inquiries Resolve payment issues and discrepancies and post customer payments Assist in customer disputes, process customer credit memos and perform A/R adjustments Prepare and maintain basic departmental metrics Requirements Experience in Collections Good listening skills Communication skills Negotiating skills Patience and stress management Problem-solving skills Critical thinking skills Benefits HMO with 1 free dependent upon hire Life Insurance 20 PTO credits annually VL and SL cash conversion Annual Performance-Based Merit Increases and Employee Recognition Great Company Culture Career Growth and Learning A laptop will be provided by the company Hybrid work set up 30,000 - 35,000 Monthly Salary
