ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR
(1) Financial Accounting & Reporting:
(a) Prepare Accounts Payable Report.
(b) Reconcile Accounts Payable data with financial statements, cash flow reports, and vendor data.
(c) Supervise AP process and vendor payments.
(d) Review and reconcile AP accounts.
(e) Resolve vendor discrepancies.
(f) Generate Alphalist of Payees, Summary of EWT/BIR Form 2307, and Summary Listing of Sales and Purchases
(2) Month-End & Year-End Closing
(a) Lead AP closing activities.
(b) Review AP ledger for accurate end-of-period adjustments.
(c) Process accounts payable, including vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and other financial obligations.
(d) Verify the accuracy of invoices, expense claims, and reimbursements, ensuring alignment with company policies.
(e) Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
(3) Team Supervision & Development
(a) Train AP team on AP processes.
(b) Set AP team goals and track progress.
(d) Conduct regular evaluations of AP staff.
(4) Internal Controls & Process Improvement
(a) Ensure compliance in AP activities.
(b) Develop AP-specific internal controls.
(c) Perform regular AP process audits.
(5) Policy Development
(a) Develop and update AP-specific policies.
(b) Ensure adherence to AP SOPs.
(c) Review vendor policy compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to gaming and hospitality.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and experience with property management systems (PMS) and gaming management systems (GMS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is a MUST.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the online gaming, hotel, or casino industries.
- Experience with gaming revenue recognition, regulatory compliance, and multi-entity accounting.
