Requisition Number: 96958 BASIC FUNCTION Position Overview Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounts payable specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do at Insight Perform 3-way matching and ensure timely payment to vendors Reconcile statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and accurate Manage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments Reviewing and reconciling vendor statements Monitoring and managing accounts payable aging Maintain accurate records of all invoices, payments, and related transactions Assisting and provides information for audit purposes Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed What you'll need to join Insight A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate sound work ethics and possess cultural awareness and sensitivity Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team The position described above provides a summary of some the job duties required and what it would be like to work at Insight.
