**We are looking for AU Team Lead - Accountant**
The primary responsibility of the Team Leader is to supervise and support a team of Accountants.
The Team Leader reports direct to Sr Client Manager and assists with workflow distribution and maximizing the effectiveness of the team.
Organizes the work of the team, assigns tasks, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
Conducts performance management and career development processes.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Excellent understanding of Aus tax legislation especially on small-medium enterprises
- Liaising with the ATO for complex matters e.g.
entering payments arrangements, lodging tax objections
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
- Have a good understanding of the Xero accounting system
- Update and maintain of fixed asset register - this task includes adding new asset items, process depreciation, disposal, trade-ins.
- Understands and can effectively utilise the ATO portal.
- Can reconcile ATO accounts with the client rec
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliation including GST Reconciliation, bank reconciliation
- Can compute provision for income tax
- Ability to prepare list of queries for the supervisor or manager and or client's attention.
The quality of queries is at advance level.
- Can prepare and complete special purpose financial statements and tax returns
- Can prepare, finalise and review tax return for individuals, partnerships, and trust and companies
- Can prepare, finalise and review BAS, IAS, FBT calculations return records
- Advantageous, able to prepare SMSF accounts and annual return using an SMSF software.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: Php80,000.00 - Php95,000.00 per month
