The Accounting Supervisor will supervise the general accounting area and provide financial information for the company's accounting functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Oversees Accounting operations which includes financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and etc.
• Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
• Oversees the system of the internal controls over Accounting functions to minimize risk.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Reconciles a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
• Provides support to other departmental personnel regarding procedures and program requirements for the purpose of ensuring efficient processing in compliance within government policy and established regulatory guidelines.
• Researches discrepancies of financial information and/or documentation for the purpose of ensuring the accuracy and adhering to established procedures prior to processing.
• Assists in performing general ledger accounting functions as needed for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner during short times of need.
• Informs other staff regarding procedural requirements for the purpose of facilitating financial compliance within established practices.
• Maintains a wide variety of financial information, files and records for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines especially for BIR Compliance.
• Complies with the local and national government requirements.
• Checks and reviews all reports coming from Sales Accounting Clerk, Disbursement Clerk.
• Payroll & Purchasing Clerk and Inventory Audit Clerk.
• Prepares necessary journal entries and adjusting entries.
• Supervising and providing overall guidance to accounting department
• Performs other related duties assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Five (5) years or more related experience is required especially in BIR Compliance.
• Certified Public Accountant designation is highly preferred.
