Accounting Section Head

ResponsibilitiesSupervising the day-to-day operations of the Accounting and Financial group.Training, setting goals, and evaluating group managers & subordinates.Developing, reviewing, and improving accounting system, policies, and procedures.Coordinating section/company activities and delegating responsibilities to subordinates.Coordinating/responding to demands of Headquarters.Compiling performance reports and reporting to Treasurer and President.Ensuring the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.Managing schedules and deadlines.Ensuring that operations adhere to different government policies and regulations.Responding to tax investigations.Responding to annual audits.QualificationsApplicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.Managerial experience in accounting, tax, financial, organizational operation, developing and reviewing accounting policies, and annual budget management.Experience in handling/consulting job-rotation/career development of team members.Experience in observing, reviewing, and advising on financial data prepared by team members.Experience in full set of accounting and financial practices including cash-related journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting slips, closing journal entries, preparation of financial statements, and handling accounting audits.Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and financial performance reviews.Communication with the bank regarding remittance and checks.
