Accounting Officer

JOB SUMMARY: He/she is responsible with the general accounting of the company. He/she ensures that all financial and accounting operations within an accounting department run smoothly. They oversee the work of accounting staff, ensures that all accounts are well accounted, provide financial statements and ensure that the company is compliant with the government.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Overall supervision of the Finance Team
a. Direct and Review Workplan of his/her subordinates
b. Set expectations with the Operating standards for the team
c. Conducts necessary meeting to identify and resolve concerns
d. Encourage systemize and efficient work flow within the department

2. Establishes internal controls and guidelines for Finance and Accounting transaction of the company
3. Prepares and Submit Financial Statement of the company
4. Conducts and prepares annual budgeting of the company for Financial Forecasting
5. Conducts Financial Analysis base on Suppliers and Clients inputs, to project monthly operational movement of the company
6. Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year
7. Ensures BIR/Tax compliance of the company
a. Prepares BIR form 2307 and 2306, if applicable.
b. Prepares Alpha list
c. Prepares reconciliation of filed BIR Tax returns
d. Ensures completeness of necessary documents to file the Business Permits for all business affiliates of Grupo Mundo
8. Recommends and present process improvement of the company
9. Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
10. Ensures all transactions are monitored
11. Ensures payments and payables are settled
12. Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
13. Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
14. Maintain records in company Google Sheets.
15. Maintains and ensure all records are accurate in SAP system
16. Preparation of Statement of Accounts and make constant follow up with clients regarding their accounts.
17. Validates cash fund requirements of the operation department.
18. Conducts Financial Audits in a quarterly basis

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (skills, knowledge, etc.):
1. Knowledgeable in Taxation Laws
2. Familiar with process and guidelines of government agencies (BIR,BOC, BAI, DEA, NMIS, etc)
3. Strong communication skills
4. Decisive and possess good analytical capability
5. Keen and strong data analyzation
6. Good leadership qualities
7. Strong Microsoft office and Google forms knowledge
8. Familiar with SAP Accounting System

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors' degree in Accountancy / Management Accounting
2. Strong advantage if CPA passer
3. At least 5 years' experience in the related field
4. With Management/Team Leading Experience
