Accounting Officer

• Maintaining accurate accounting and financial records
• Timely maintenance of accounting journals, ledgers, and logs detailing financial business transactions including preparing and maintaining Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements;
• Preparation of consolidated summaries of input and output tax to be encoded to BIR VAT Relief Program;
• Preparation of check vouchers and checks after verification of completeness of supporting documents;
• Monitor daily transactions and subsidiary ledgers
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements
• Ensure compliance with government agency requirements such as those of BIR, SEC, and LGU
• Reconcile financial statement accounts and monthly closing
• Maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and logs
• File BIR requirements through EEPS (e.g. monthly filing of withholding tax on compensation, expanded withholding tax, VAT, ITR, etc...)
• Conduct an audit of existing accounting procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned or as needed by the Management


Qualifications:

Degree in BS Accountancy or BS Accounting Technology or any relevant course
Has at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Team-oriented
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable and receivable principles;
Proficient in management systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, and other Accounting Software
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Willing to work onsite Monday to Saturday in Buting, Pasig, City
