Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Supervise and lead the accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance. Oversee accounts payable, receivable and inventory movement processes, including invoice processing, collections and stock movements. Monitor cash flow and work to optimize working capital. Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of accounting staff. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Financial Analysis and Management: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit optimization. Manage cash flow, including forecasting and optimizing working capital. Monitor and analyze banking activities and ensure adequate liquidity General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger and chart of accounts, making necessary adjustments and reconciliations. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR, SEC). Coordinate and manage tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Prepare and submit required tax documents and reports. Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and address audit findings. Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Software and Systems: Utilize SAP accounting software and other tools to streamline financial processes and reporting. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging accounting technologies. Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Proven experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a management role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in SAP accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
