Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
An Accounting Manager is expected to manage and oversee the daily operations of corporate accounting functions. She must ensure organizations' financial records remain accurate while meeting reporting deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end year process, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, taxes and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, bank account statement reconciliations, check runs and fixed asset activity.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Qualifications:

• Must have a CPA license.
• Proven knowledge with bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• At least 3 years of experience as Accounting Manager
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Preferably with work experience in gaming/casino industry.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• High attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
