Accounting Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager oversees financial reporting, ensures accuracy in accounting processes, and leads the accounting team. This role ensures compliance with regulations, supports financial planning, and provides insights to aid management decisions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee Accounting Operations, such as supervising and managing the daily accounting operations to ensure team's efficiency; and Establishing and maintaining accounting controls through complete and accurate chart of accounts and defining clear accounting policies and procedures;Process improvement, Automation and Policy Development;Maintain Data Integrity and Ensure Compliance by staying informed on current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations and recommending new procedures to avoid legal challengesFinancial Reporting and Month-end Closing, such as reviewing and finalizing monthly financial transactions and reports; monitoring revenue and expenses and communicating financial data clearly, accurately and promptlyBuild and develop a reliable accounting team such as overseeing team members' welfare and professional growth, including assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining.QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and MUST be a CPA
Experience: With experience and familiarization in accounting software such as HELIX, XERO and others (Microsoft Suite)
Skills: Extensive knowledge and demonstrated skills in matter related to accounting and financial policies, procedures and reporting.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP).
