ACCOUNTING MANAGER
 
Job Summary:
 
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Setting up the full spectrum of the Accounting Department and improving the policies and procedures.
Maintaining relationships between Internal and External Auditors and banks.
Manage all Accounting activities including accounts payable, purchasing, receivables, and collection, depreciation, reconciliation, and Compliance.
Prepares monthly bank reconciliation, investigate difference noted, makes appropriate adjustments, and reports any suspicious transactions to the Management.
Prepares and processes Sr. Management payroll.
Make and review financial reports and accounting statements to ensure their accuracy.
Prepares and lay-out budget and forecast and recommendations.
Leads and administers improvement of the existing Operational and Accounting System.
Review the existing procedures and practices and other improvement areas and provide recommendations to the findings discovered.
Ensures legal compliances such as BIR, SEC related matters.
Maintains staff job results
by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Reporting directly to the Vice President/Managing Director and supporting other work-related functions given from time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
 
Education:
Bachelor?s/College Degree in Accountancy
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
Training and Experience
Knowledgeable in accounting systems and can develop and implement procedures and features to enhance workflow and maintain a high level of accuracy in the department.
Strong analytical and statistical skills for complex problem-solving.
Skills and Attitude:
