**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities
- Manage the cash flow, company budget and supervise financial transactions within the company to ensure there are no discrepancies in reports.
- Interacts regularly with financial and accounting staff and heads of departments to ensure spreadsheets are up to date each month and at year-end, as well as reporting on the financial profit and loss incurred on a weekly or yearly basis.
- Work with teams in the company to obtain financial data, such as the expenses incurred throughout the month, so that records can be updated for accurate auditing at the end of the year.
- Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
- Perform other accounting/finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Lead in the budgeting and forecasting, which is in accordance with operating plans and policies.
- Lead in the development and maintenance of financial systems and procedures, including appropriate IT systems.
- Build close and effective working relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Act as the initial point of reference for financial queries from employees within the company.
- Organize work schedules and setting priorities in order to meet critical deadlines such as:
- Audit (Internal and External)
- Provide assistance to the auditors and handle matters raised by the auditors
- Treasury and Banking
- Process payments for supplier
- Monthly Budget and Forecasts
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, which is in accordance with operating plans and policies
- Assist in the monitoring of monthly actual results against the budget
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- At least five (5) years of working knowledge and experience in the related field is required for the position.
- Preferably FMCG Manager that is well versed in general accounting in Retail/Distribution.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Required Skill(s): QuickBooks, SAP, advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Strong analytical, organizational skills and possess a good leadership style.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Strong in attention to detail and accuracy
