What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reportingPrepare and analyse financial statements to provide insights that support strategic decision-makingEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policiesImplement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support business initiativesSupervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environmentIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the management industryExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendationsProficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suiteStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsDemonstrable experience in leading and developing a team of accounting professionalsThorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
