Accounting Head Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Liaising with other departments VAT, Audit and Advisory to ensure advice and projects are successfully completed.Preparing and submitting timely and accurate VAT, ECSL and Intrastat returns across the EMEA region working closely with the Accounts Payable team.Ensuring that all tax payments are made on a timely and accurate basis.Assist with managing IRS examinations, including responding to Information Document Requests, Notices of Proposed Adjustments and other exam related matters.Assist with preparing or reviewing Protests to 30-day letters and assist with representation of clients at IRS Appeals conferences.Assist clients with various alternative dispute resolution procedures such as Pre-Filing Agreement submissions, Fast Track Settlement proceedings and Early Referral to Appeals proceedings.Assist clients with resolving penalty notices by drafting or reviewing penalty abatement requests.Perform research on various technical and procedural tax matters.Research and write articles on current tax topics for internal and external distribution.
