**JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING TEAM LEADER**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Accounting Team Leader is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department.
They monitor and analyze data and prepare financial reports.
Also, they establish and implement appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan, coordinate, and align with management on the goals and objectives of the department.
- Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded, accurate and complete.
- Review and finalize all relevant financial statements.
- Generate and review monthly accounting reports.
- Assures that records are accurately recorded.
- Manage payment schedules.
- Follow internal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financial security is maintained.
- Train new employees on company standards and procedures.
- Work with management to resolve any accounting-related issues that may arise.
- Provides informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback in the annual performance evaluation process to identify and develop talent.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as needed.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Manages the staffing through the appropriate hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**

**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial law.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Ability to manage staff and collaborate data from their individual business segment.
- Ability to focus, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and resourceful.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer and Internet proficiency is important.
- Must be able to work well independently but always think to work on a team.
- Accountable, strong time management and decision-making skills.
- Analytical and able to think out of the box solution for a problem or issues that may encounter.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and adaptable to constant changes.

**Experience**:
- 2-3 years of experience of progressive work experience in the same role.
