Accounting Head

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA is a plus.At least 5 years of accounting experience.Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong experience with MS Excel (vLookups, pivot tables, graphs) and other MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint).Experience with ERP systems, SAP, database applications, and general ledger software is required.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide cost-benefit analysis for decision-making.Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to explain financial information to non-finance professionals.Responsibilities: Manage the accounting department's closing schedule to ensure timely financial reporting.Lead the monthly financial close process, including reconciliations and journal entries.Review check payments and ensure all AP invoices are approved before processing.Maintain accounting policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local government and other agencies.Assist the CEO with performance metrics, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Over time, support preparation for board meetings.
