**ACCOUNTING GENERALIST****Work Set-Up: On-site, Full-Time**Address : PDI Condominium, Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue, Banilad, Cebu City**Work Sched: Tuesday-Saturday, 4:00 am to 1:00 pm Early Shift****JOB DESCRIPTION****Responsibilities**:- Ensures timely and accurate filing and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual tax returns with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).- Prepares tax obligations for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial statements- Recording transactions in the registered books of accounts (Sales Journal, Cash Disbursements Book, General Journal, and General Ledger);- Stamping of books of accounts and annual registration with the BIR (Form 0605).- Handling tax concerns from internal and external customers and suppliers- Administer during BIR examinations and other tax-related projects- Keeps up-to-date knowledge on BIR and SEC Regulations and Tax Rulings, and evaluates its impact to the company.- Monitors compliance of the company to BIR's tax mapping requirements- Ensures proper and organized archiving of accounting related documents- Takes charge of collecting, recording and filing of income and expense receipts- Recording and updating of Company's Profit and Loss Statement- Prepares, computes and files all required returns and remittances of taxes and contributions due to other government regulatory agencies such as SSS, PHIC, and HDMF- Prepares and processes payroll using the company's internal payroll system.- Recommends process improvements and monitors its implementation**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.- CPA License is an advantage.- At least two years of accounting experience for SME or start-up companies.- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.- Proficiency in Taxation, MS Office and Google Workspace.- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.- Must be a quick learner with a growth mindset.- Sense of Urgency, Precise, Leader, Frank, Diplomatic, Authoritative, Collaborative, Persistent, Assertive, Influencing, Flexible, Self-motivated- Amenable to work on-site in Cebu City, at an early day shiftMake sure to answer the questions on this job ad.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Health insuranceSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shift- Early shiftSupplemental Pay:- Performance bonusCOVID-19 considerations:All employees are following the minimum safety health protocols.Ability to commute/relocate:- Cebu City, Cebu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- What month and year did you graduate with your degree?- When is your birthday?- Where is your place of birth?- How soon can you start?- Best time to call?- Paste your linkedin or social media profile link**Experience**:- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)License/Certification:- CPA (preferred)
