Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where??? Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu Smartsourcing is looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager to lead and optimize our financial operations, bringing a sharp eye for detail, expertise in compliance, and a commitment to operational excellence. This role will be pivotal in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting and providing leadership within our Finance team.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Financial Reporting: Prepares and reviews financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensures accuracy and completeness of financial reports. Analyzes financial data to identify trends and potential issues. Provides financial insights to management for decision-making. Accounting Processes: Oversees daily accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and statutory requirements. Develops and implements efficient accounting procedures and controls. Ensures compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Manages the month-end and year-end close processes. Financial Analysis: Performs financial analysis to assess the company's financial performance. Prepares budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls. Monitors potential risks and implements measures to mitigate them. Collaborates with internal and external auditors and stakeholders. Team Management: Coach and mentor direct reports in the Finance and Accounting team. Assigns tasks, reviews work and provides feedback. Conducts performance evaluations and provides training and development opportunities. We would need you to be or have the following: ?? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or other relevant certifications (preferred). 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Leadership and supervisory skills.
