ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT MANAGER

 

Brief Description

 

The accounting Assistant Manager supervises the accounting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and financial transactions are complete, accurate and are submitted on time to meet management operational needs and external compliance requirements.

 

Qualifications

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

With at least 2 years of experiences as Accounting Supervisor or External Auditor (Audit and Assurance); CPA is preferred

Strong understanding or accounting, finance and management principles.

Strong knowledge on compliance requirements (BIR tax returns preparation and filing.

SEC requirements, business permits registration/renewal, etc.)

Excellent leadership and communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, highly organized, analytical and trustworthy

**Responsibilities**:
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and ensures that all significant projects, statutory requirements, month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.

Works closely with the Accounting Manager in the development and implementation of department projects, policies and procedures to improve the workflow of the department.

Assist in the analysis of financial data and preparation of supporting scheduled

Participates in internal and external audits and preparation of reconciliations.

Provides training to and coaching of new and existing associates

Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
