Accounting Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the manager on the Monthly Preparation of Financial Statements
- Computes, Files and pay taxes thru E-BIR Offline Package & EFPS (Eg.
Withholding Taxes, VAT, Income Tax, Business Tax, Annual Registration)
- Daily and monthly banking activities including clearing cheques and journal entries as needed
- Journalizes transactions for collections, receivables, disbursements, accruals, depreciation, amortization, bank reconciliation, etc.
in QuickBooks system
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Assist in AP/AR as required including billing and document management
- Processes check vouchers and print checks for signing of authorized signatories.
- Monitors cash flow and make sure checks for release are funded.
- Monitors all payables are processed and paid on time.
- Prepares intercompany billings for rental, shared cost, out of pocket charges and other related accounts
- Handle Account Reconciliations
- Provide supporting Schedules & Documentation for Audit

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience
- Above average skills in MS Excel
- Good communication skills and strong analytical problem-solving skills

**Salary**: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
