Accounting Assistant

Accounting assistants work in a variety of settings, from small businesses to large accounting firms and major corporations. Their key duties include tracking and recording transactions, keeping up-to-date records, and performing accuracy checks on financial data.

Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions. Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders. Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
