Position Overview:
1.
Prepares request for dollar conversion in payment of crew members monthly home allotment and shipboard pay.
2.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly allotment payroll of crew members.
Basis of computation is the statement of account confirmed and paid by the Principal.
3.
Updates regularly the deductions from crew members home allotments.
4.
Computers shipboard and standby pay of CBA crew members and prepares 50% advance payment based on computation.
Shipboard pay computation is sent to the principal for confirmation.
5.
Responsible for the preparation of crew members shipboard pay.
6.
Prepares debit/credit advice, fund transfer for the monthly allotments and shipboard pay.
7.
Responsible for posting accounts to the General Ledger.
8.
Assists in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
9.
In-charge in filling home allotment files and records.
10.
Performs other accounting functions that may be required from time to time
