Responsibilities of Accounting Assistant

• Functions as custodian of all accountable forms – SO, SI, CR, PR;
• Converts confirmed shipment in Acumatica into Invoice and prints transactions;
• Issues Sales Invoices;
• Receives physical payments from customers and issues related collection documents;
• Receives collections from driver (delivery); checks supporting documents to ensure all information, dates and signatures are complete;
• Safekeeps PDCs and ensures they are timely deposited upon maturity;
• Prepares deposit slip for all cash and check collections for banking;
• Converts into Invoice all recorded Credit Memos;
• Assists client inquiries and take client order then input to Acumatica in the absence of Sales/Marketing personnel;
• Ensures completeness of documents and their timely distribution.
