Accounting Assistant

Duties &Responsibilities:

- Prepares Accounts Payable Vouchers for payment to government agencies/requirements
- Processes request for disbursement by the departments for payments
- Enters data to the system for proper charging and cost center
- Monitors and updates Account Receivables of employees for proper accounting
- Prepares payroll on a weekly and semi-monthly basis
- Executes month-end system run to ensure that all entries on recurring, accrual and depreciation and the line are recorded and included in the financial reports;
- Monitors compliance of Finance departments to the set monthly cut-off to ensure that all transactions within the month are recorded and included in the financial reports;
- Processes and closes Cross
- Co. Code Clearing account to know the dues to and from affiliate companies;
- Prepares Financial Statements
- Experience in Treasury is an advantage
- Performs other related functions as directed by the immediate supervisor

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology of equivalent..
- Knowledgeable in basic Accounting principles
- Preferably with at least 6 months experience in general accounting.
- With SAP background is an advantage.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Willing to be assigned in Magallanes, Makati City.
- Can start immediately.
- 5 fulltime positions available.
Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Makati: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CPA (preferred)
