Accounting Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

* Review cash on-board reports, bonded stores, provisions, and verify supporting documents for digital export.

* Approve crew claims for joining expenses, repatriation, bonuses, and allowances per policy.

* Prepare and submit monthly allotment requests to banks, resolve issues, and reconcile payments with payroll.

* Generate monthly/quarterly reports for union dues, including provident fund and gratuity, ensuring timely deposits.

* Prepare MIS reports, including crew compliance and OPEX reports.

* Review and manage invoices for crew recruitment and repatriation, coordinating with the AP team for payments.

* Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

* Graduate of BS in Finance, Accounting, or any related field

* At least two (2) years of experience in corporate account or a similar finance role

*Proficiency in MS Office suite

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
