Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic
finance team.
This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with up
to one year of relevant accounting experience.
The successful candidate will play a
crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance,
and efficiency in financial operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assist in the preparation of financial statements and various financial reports.
? Support the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and
accurate transactions.
? Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate
financial reporting.
? Assist with tax preparations and filing requirements to ensure compliance with all
relevant regulations.
? Analyze financial data and create detailed reports for management review.
? Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial
regulations.
? Compile, enter, and post monthly adjusting journal entries to maintain accurate
financial records.
? Assist with audit preparations and other compliance activities to support internal
and external audits.
? Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial
documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
? Collaborate with other team members to improve financial procedures and
workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
? Up to one year of relevant accounting experience.
Fresh graduates are
encouraged to apply.
? Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting
software.
? Experience with financial software and systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or
Oracle Financials is a plus.
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial for our diverse regional offices.
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Hybrid | Fresh Graduates or those with 1-2 experience are encouraged - Comms skills is a must
