Is currently looking for:
 

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Process all company payables.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handles all kinds of accounts payable documents namely suppliers sales invoice, delivery receipt, official receipt and purchase orders.

Audit and verifies each supplier/s documents if it conforms to the requisition slip requirements, its price and terms of the company.

Post and update records using Peachtree Accounting system.

Releases check every Friday and Saturday only.

Does time to time monitoring of aging payables.

Monitors outstanding payables and ensures that payments are processed on time.

Files all accounting records in a systematic and orderly manner for easy retrieval.Performs other duties assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
 

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

At least 2 years of working experience in Accounting particularly in Accounts Payable

SEX/AGE/STATUS

Male/Female; single or married

SKA's

Good written and oral communication skills

Computer Literate (MS Office Applications)

Organized, keen to details and with good interpersonal skills

Knowledgeable in accounting principles

Ability to analyze information and post accurately the figures/numbers in the system

Can work with less supervision.
