Accounting, A/P & Treasury Head
Duties & Responsibilities
Audit
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process. Ensure compliance with the tax laws, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
Resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Prepare Client Adjusting Journal Entries
Monitor all the submission of audit requirements.
Prepare COS Allocation
Prepare Bank Reconciliation
Taxes
Checking of monthly and quarterly remittances such as Vat, EWT and Withholding Tax Compensation.
Prepare the quarterly Income Tax Return required by Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Facilitates timely submission and filing of all tax returns and payments.
Handle and assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Local Government Unit tax assessments for all the data needed.
Accounts Payable
Establishes and implements work standards and ensures proper maintenance of record and documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
Reviews and checks the accuracy of requests for check preparation and Accounts Payable Vouchers to ensure the correctness of recording of transactions.
Responds to queries, complaints, and requests from internal and external customers of Accounts Payable and other transaction processing matters.
Treasury
Ensures company's liquidity.
Provide guidance and mentorship to improve the treasury reports.
Facilitates bank requirements for updating of signatories and other payment options.
Accounting
Assist the other department with regards to accounting procedure and policies and other concerns pertaining to their transactions.
Responsible for reviewing balance sheets, general ledger accounts and income statement schedules.
Present monthly AEI Financial Performance and insights
Checking of MD Share Reconciliation
Oversees year-end inventory count and summarizes actual count per satellite.
Assist in monthly closing adjusting entries.
Give guidance and mentor the accountant for better understanding of accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of experience
At least 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience
Experience with Navision or other ERP systems like Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle
Preferred if the candidate has experience in the medical industry
