1. Financial Supervision
1.1 Oversee the preparation of financial statements to ensure its accuracy and timely submission to all users and stakeholders.
1.2 Manage the Accounting system that guarantees accuracy of the balances in the General Ledger, consistency and integrity of financial data and correct presentation of financial reports.
1.3 Review financial transactions to ensure they are valid, authorized, duly approved, and adequately supported by proper documents; in conformity with Company policies and tax and regulatory requirements.
1.4 Ensure all financial transactions are recorded on time in accordance with business rules and procedures established in the financial system, in conformity with accounting standards, and distributed to proper accounts and cost centers.
1.5 Develop, maintain, review, modify and administer approved accounting practices and procedures, reporting methods and controls throughout the organization to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business.
1.6 Study and research on issues affecting Company's taxation and contractual obligations with the Vendors.
1.7 Supervise payroll functions to ensure timely distribution of payroll to employees with accurate computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, benefits, taxes and deductions that are integral to payroll.
1.8 Manage Company's taxation to ensure compliance with tax regulations, and that all tax filings and tax payments are on time and properly calculated.
1.9 Ensure strict implementation of all existing Company policies and procedures on financial transactions, and formulate recommendations for improvements.
1.10 Lead research, reconciliation and analytical activities of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger balances
1.11 Manage Fixed Asset System to ensure, proper accountability of assets, proper documentation and accounting treatment of
acquisition, correct computation and recording of depreciation,
review of construction in progress or work in progress, and orderly
maintenance of records and documents.
1.12 Manage assigned special projects. Support activities related
special projects and assignments undertaken by Finance

organization.
2. Coordination
2.1 Respond to the inquiries from the management, other
organizations regarding financial results and special reporting
requests.
2.2 Interface with other departments to address inquiries and
concerns about financial transactions, accounting processes and
procedures
2.3 Work with the facility management and personnel in formulating
and applying mechanics of budget preparation and budget
monitoring.
2.4 Facilitate activities of internal and external audits, tax examination
and inspection by various regulatory agencies.
3. Administrative Functions
3.1 Develop and implement new processes and procedures to
enhance workflow of Accounting Department and establish more
efficient use of resources while maintaining high level of accuracy.
3.2 Plan and schedule work of the Accounting Team ensuring proper
distribution of assignments
3.3 Review work of subordinates to ensure that they accomplish
assigned tasks correctly and on time.
3.4 Manage Accounting's month-end and year-end closing activities
to ensure timely preparation of financial reports
3.5 Ensure that Accounting Team maintain an orderly filing of
documents and records of all financial transactions that are
assigned in their custody.
3.6 Perform personnel functions to include performance appraisal,
vacation schedules and disciplinary actions, and handle
personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism and

performance issues.
3.7 Schedule and conduct department meetings.
4. Staff Development
4.1 Work with direct reports to establish performance goals and
objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress
based on the established performance standards, to enhance the
professional development of staff.
4.2 Provide training to new and existing staff as needed in learning to
perform the job and to develop the staff skills and competencies.
4.3 Perform other related tasks and/or functions that may be assigned
by President and General Manager
