Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for an Accountant who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where??? Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the management of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly processes to deliver group P&Ls, balance sheet reconciliations and compliance requirements of the Finance function. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a range of accounting duties in accordance with statutory legislation, accounting standards, internal controls and policies and procedures.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliation in an accurate and timely manner and any anomalies are resolved. Management of transactional data entry of the Group to ensure data is accurate and timely. Assist in the preparation, lodgement and reconciliation of all taxation and payment to relevant bodies (Income Tax, BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG etc). Assist in the reconciliation of group intercompany transactions. Completion of month-end journals including accruals, prepayment, and amortisation schedules. Assist the Financial Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant, and Financial Controller with ad hoc requests. Monthly processing and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and posting of monthly depreciation. Assist in the preparation of Gift Voucher Reconciliation (GVC). Prepare and distribute charges to our other entities. Third-party gift card reconciliation. Assist in the preparation of Accounting for Marketing Levy & Franchise Fees for spas. Assisting the Financial Controller and internal stakeholders with administrative tasks as required. Assisting and supporting the team in areas where annual leave cover is required. Maintaining compliance with statutory legislation, accounting standards, internal controls, company policies and procedures. Support system implementations and enhancements where required. We would need you to be or have the following: CA / CPA Qualified Substantial experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter and retrieve data High-level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with the ability to review and interpret numerical information in line with audit, ATO and regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing tasks and work demands Time management skills and the ability to set priorities and organise work to meet deadlines Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide information in a clear, concise and timely manner Sound IT skills, with substantial working knowledge of Excel and prior experience using NetSuite will be highly regarded Be a part of the Smartsourcing crew ??!
