The accountant position is a partially remote/hybrid role that requires the candidate to work in the office located in Olongapo City for collaborative tasks and team meetings. While remote work is permitted for certain responsibilities, the accountant will be expected to maintain regular office hours to ensure effective communication and workflow with the finance team.
Key responsibilities: Analyze monthly credit card transactions to identify spending patterns and highlight any discrepancies.Monitor actual credit card expenditures against the approved budget and financial forecasts.Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on financial metrics and trends related to credit card usage.Assist with monthly financial reporting and in-depth analysis of revenue, expenses, and profit margins.Support weekly cash flow reporting and projections to ensure liquidity management.Conduct financial research to provide insights for strategic decision-making.Collaborate on ad-hoc financial projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.Prepare and file tax returns and other required documentation, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. Qualifications to be successful in the role: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.At least 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.Proven experience in financial analysis.Highly skilled in Excel for data analysis and reporting.Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) accounting systems is preferred.Familiarity with government contracts/projects is a plus.Strong analytical thinking skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
