Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant (CPA) to support the clients family office. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial expertise, project management experience, and a background in property development or construction. This role is perfect for a self-driven, autonomous problem solver who can manage both financial tasks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of investments, ensuring regular reporting is received. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices. Update accounts payable, manage vendors, and perform reconciliations. Prepare bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations, including month-end required reports. Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company guidelines. Prepare payroll, including schedules, monthly or bi-weekly computations, deductions, and additions. Update financial data in databases, including the recording of accruals and prepayments, ensuring information is accurate and readily available for analysis and reporting. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports. Oversee and manage financial records for family investments, including property rental income and maintenance expenses. Assist in tax-related tasks, including data entry for tax returns and quarterly activity statements. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and other accounting projects as necessary. Skills and Qualifications: REQUIRED - bachelor's degree in accounting REQUIRED Certified Public Accountant At least 3-5 years of proven experience as an Intermediate Accountant Strong financial and accounting knowledge; accounting qualifications highly preferred. Project management experience, particularly in property development, real estate, or construction, is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with property maintenance and construction processes is a plus. Ability to work independently, solve problems autonomously, and conduct research. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
