Responsibilities


The General Accountant's main responsibility is to do accounting functions including bookkeeping to month-end reporting. He/She will assist the accounting team in all other accounting functions.

Other responsibilities are:

> Perform accounting functions such as verifying, allocation, posting and reconciling accounts.
> He/She will be responsible also for preparing and analyzing financial information and summarizing status.
> Assist in financial statement audits
> Communicate with managers on accounting concerns, requirements, and reports
> Assist in financial and tax-related requirements
> Special projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

> Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
> At least 1 year (for CPA board passer) or 2-5 years (non-CPA board passer) working experience in a related field is required for this position
> CPA board passer is preferred
> Thorough knowledge and understanding of basic accounting procedures, standards and principles
> Experienced in preparing financial statements
> Experienced in bookkeeping and the month-end and year-end reports
> Excellent accounting software user (preferably MYOB software)
> Organized and keen on detail, focused on accuracy and completeness of all processing
> Possess strong written and verbal English communication skills
> Have strong presentation skills with a professional manner
> Be confident with a can do attitude
> Amenable to report onsite in either Ortigas, Pasig City / Cubao, Quezon City
